Our Services

What Hospice Care Includes

Pain & Symptom Management

Managing pain and other symptoms is often one of the biggest concerns for families. Our hospice physician and nurses work together to help control pain, improve comfort, and respond to changes as they occur.

Nursing Care

Hospice nurses visit regularly to assess the patient's condition, manage medications, provide treatments, and answer questions. They also help families understand what to expect as an illness progresses.

Personal Care Assistance

Hospice aides assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities, helping patients remain comfortable while giving caregivers an extra helping hand.

Emotional & Social Support

A serious illness affects the entire family. Social workers provide emotional support, practical guidance, and help connect families with community resources when additional assistance is needed.

Spiritual Care

For families who desire it, chaplains provide spiritual support that respects each person's beliefs, traditions, and values. Their role is simply to be present, listen, and offer encouragement.

Bereavement Support

Support doesn't end after the loss of a loved one. Help Hospice offers bereavement services and grief resources to help families as they begin adjusting to life after loss.

Our Approach

Choosing Hospice Doesn't Mean Giving Up

It means choosing care that focuses on comfort, dignity, and making the most of the time that matters most.

Hospice is centered around one simple goal: helping patients remain as comfortable as possible. That way, families can spend less time worrying about medical details and more time simply being together.

Our hospice physician and care team develop a plan of care based on your loved one’s needs. As those needs change, the care plan changes too.

Your Team

Hospice Is a Team Effort

When hospice begins, you’re not relying on just one person. Your care is coordinated by a team of professionals who work together to meet the medical, emotional, and practical needs of both the patient and family.

Each member plays a different role, but they share one goal: helping patients remain comfortable while giving families the guidance and support they need.

You Are Not Alone in This Process.

Caring for someone with a serious illness can feel overwhelming. Hospice provides experienced professionals who help answer questions, manage changing needs, and give families the confidence that they’re not facing those challenges by themselves.

What to Expect

After Hospice Begins

01Initial Visit

A member of our team meets with the patient and family, reviews medical needs, answers questions, and develops a personalized plan of care.

02Ongoing Visits

Nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, and other team members visit based on the patient's needs and adjust care as those needs change.

03Around-the-Clock Support

Questions don't always come up during scheduled visits. That's why Help Hospice is available 24 hours a day to provide guidance whenever it's needed.

Every patient’s journey is different, but hospice follows a simple process.
